What to Expect

The Colson Educators Academic Affiliates Program brings the same transformational worldview curriculum of the nationally recognized Colson Fellows Program directly to your school. Your staff experiences the full depth of the content right where they already are, in community with the colleagues they work alongside every day.

Built for Your School

Unlike traditional Colson Fellows cohort formats, the Academic Affiliates Program is designed around your schedule. Meet weekly for an hour before school, over lunch, or whenever works best for your staff — rather than committing to three-hour Saturday sessions. That flexibility means less disruption and greater consistency. 

Because your team is processing the curriculum together in a shared environment, the impact goes beyond personal growth. Discussion happens naturally — across the lunch table, in the hallway, in department meetings — and the teaching practicum and ministry plan can be directly applied on your campus, making a measurable difference in your school culture.

What you can expect from us

Colson Educators Academic Affiliates delivers the same content and transformational experience found in the Colson Fellows curriculum — customized for the unique context of your school community. Participating educators have access to 120 CEUs certified by ACSI and the opportunity to apply this towards ACSI's Christian Philosophy of Education (CPoE) upon completion. All necessary materials are provided — discussion questions, learning outcomes, and full curriculum access through our learning management system — making it straightforward to facilitate. The program is available at a discounted rate and can be opened to teachers, staff, and even parents. 

Additionally, you can expect: 

• A dedicated support person from the Colson Educators team 
• Official promotional materials 
• A detailed Launch Plan describing the steps involved from start to finish 
• Training for all Academic Affiliate leaders 
• Commissioning as a Colson Fellow upon completion 
• 120 CEUs upon completion for faculty 
• Opportunity to satisfy ACSI’s Christian Philosophy of Education (CPoE) reuirement upon completion

What we expect from you

• A commissioned Colson Fellow on your staff who will serve as the facilitator of the Colson Educators Academic Affiliates cohort at your school 
• A Wi-Fi/AV-enabled space to host sessions throughout the course 
• The administrative support necessary to promote, host, and manage the program at your school 
• Promotion of your school’s Colson Educators Academic Affiliates cohort to educators, staff, and parents 
• Processing and administration of all tuition payments from your participants 
• Compliance with Colson Center policies applicable to Colson Educators Academic Affiliates
